The Tunes

Described as “fun”, “edgy”, and “quirky”, this alternative trio from Cape Breton is an up and coming group to be watched. The group is comprised of members Abbey Mullendore, Barry Fougere, and Alasdair Cameron. Fronted by Abbey and Barry, providing lead vocals that intertwine and soar, some audience members have commented, “...Echoes of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham”. Their sound is rounded out and completed by prodigious percussion from third member, Alasdair. Together they take the listener on the journey with them through all of the highs and the lows and the stops in between. Their music is pure, stripped down, and non assuming but not lacking. The three artists love their music, performing, and each other which is quite evident at their shows.
